Functionality and comfort - a social application for veterans

Mobile application for supporting veterans of Ukraine

Our task

Development of a strict and concise mobile application for the Ministry of Veterans of Ukraine with the support of UNDP, which has facilitated the lives of veterans. The task was to provide veterans with the opportunity to submit applications for social services to accessible organizations and track their implementation in a personal account. It was necessary to prepare a comfortable search for suitable organizations, taking into account the necessary services and region. The application had to ensure viewing of organizations for rehabilitation, treatment, adaptation, and social protection.

After selecting the desired service, we have placed organizations on the main screen by categories, and provided the option to view them either on a map or in a list. We have also added a link to useful information about each service and made the search easier by implementing service filters. These filters are also available for sorting organizations by region and rating.

Main screen

After selecting the desired service, we have placed organizations on the main screen by categories, and provided the option to view them either on a map or in a list. We have also added a link to useful information about each service and made the search easier by implementing service filters. These filters are also available for sorting organizations by region and rating.

To answer all the users' questions at once, a block with useful information has been highlighted. Each organization is provided with up-to-date description, contact information, location, and geo-coordinates. Through the application, you can go to the official website of the selected organization to learn more about its activities and services provided.

Title

The search and navigation system is organized in a comfortable and understandable way. Users have the ability to enter the name of the desired organization and find it in the catalog or on the map. A list corresponding to the query will be displayed on the screen. This makes it possible to quickly find the necessary information for further online application processing.

02

Organizations

Every organization presented in the application is synchronized with the backend of the application, which guarantees the availability of its up-to-date service status. All organizations can be viewed in a list or on a map. There are many such organizations in Ukraine, so we worked on this module with maximum quality and achieved instant data loading.

Special attention was paid to the map. We made sure that each organization is reflected correctly and without errors.

Note that filters can be applied not only to the list but also to the map. This functionality will allow selecting categories, specific organizations, or regions.

Users will be able to view all information about the organization, including images and reviews left by previous users who have already used the services.

Authorization and integrations

All application functionality was divided into online and offline features. Online functionality includes the ability to register and authorize using a personal electronic signature key and GOV ID. After authorization, users can submit service requests, add and update information in a full personal account, and leave reviews.

Filing an application for services does not take much time. The user can independently select an organization or start filling out an application without a specific choice. In the second case, representatives of the Ministry of Veterans of Ukraine will select an organization themselves, taking into account the user's service base and region.
To activate the application, the Veteran's questionnaire must be filled out. Information about oneself is entered and confirmed. Such completed questionnaires are sent for verification. After that, they are processed by employees of the Ministry of Veterans of Ukraine

What’s the result?

In the end, we created a social application that helps to form and track requests for services provided to veterans by organizations. It offers search and filtering options using either a map or search bar. Users can apply filters to highlight organizations based on the type of service, rating, or region.

Currently, we are working on improving the application and adding additional features. Specifically, we are developing new useful functions and user scenarios and implementing them into the application.
